Traditional Capes as a style of architecture may be
defined as a frame structure one-and-a-half stories high with a
pitched roof, and will be found in one of three easly recognizable
types:
The half house, sometimes
called the house, with two windows to one side of the
door;
The three-quarter house,
sometimes called house-and-a-half, with two windows
to one side of the door and one to the other;
The full cape, often
referred to as a double house, with a door in the center
flanked by two windows on either side.
